Sonohat Bogdan aka Sonno, Romanian teen dj/producer, is one of the rising talents of the Romanian underground scene. He started as a Dj in 2009 at some private parties in his little hometown, Dorohoi, when he was 17. However, since 2009, his electronic influences started showing up and he became inspired by artists such as Rhadoo, Raresh, Pedro, Ricardo Villalobos, Josh Wink, Jeff Mills, Valentino Kanzyani, Jens Zimmermann, Daniel Stefanik and many others. His way of playing music soon evolved into exciting performances that combine dub techno and house grooves. He has a lot of tracks produced but none of them released...yet. For 2013 he expects at least one remarkable vinyl release. Soon on MM001....
Arminia Alexandru aka Amped is a 24 years old Dj & Producer from Iasi, Romania. At the age of 15 Alexandru discovered electronic music for the first time, which that will lead him 5 years later to experiment with production. As a result, at the end of 2011 his first EP entered the world. Today Amped is seriously focused on production, releasing his material on various labels. Musically, his sound is dominated by deep/techno with house influences and can be described as a Romanian breath of fresh air, that refuse to be easily classified. These days, Amped runs a bunch of new tracks and new projects, that deserve to be watched closely, he joined Project London Records family.
DJ Hightech has had a passion for music at a very young age, probably even before he was toilet trained! He would always get really excited whenever his dad or brothers would play the piano or the guitar and is always eager to play it himself. His passion did not just stop there, at the age of eight he then was able to play any song with the piano only by listening to it. At the age of sixteen, he developed an interest of creating his own tunes. He started off with creating sounds of Hip-Hop and R&B, and even managed to have produced a few tracks for local artists.
After a few years he then came to a liking of house music and started to try and produce one himself. At the same time he also took an interest in Dj-ing, playing anywhere he could in his home Kuala Lumpur. Dj Hightech has also some experience spinning in clubs in Melbourne and also at the full moon party, Koh Phangan a few years back. DJ Hightech has enrolled himself in a few competitions and honoured himself with titles such as the Champion of the Turn It Up DJ competition by Capital f.m (2007), First Runner Up of the Spin Master DJ competition by Astro (2010), First Runner Up of the Pioneer Digital Battle (2011), Producer of the year by Choons Awards (2012).
After a few years of producing house & techno music and uploading the tunes on the Internet, he then started to get noticed by online music labels. After some time, he now has a number of tracks released under various online record labels such as Seven Records(U.S.A), Kushtee Records(Spain), Bedroom Muzik( U.S.A ) and more . Supported by DJ Wady, Coqui Selection, DJ Hafidz (Malaysia) and more. His tracks may be found on Beatport, Juno download, I.Tunes and a few others. He now has a few production projects coming up such as collaborating with well-known international producers. This determined music lover has no plans in stopping just there, his dreams is to be a world-known producer one day.

Nic started playing the banjo age 6 + has been into music ever since, its hereditary and in his family routes. From his classical pianist grandfather to his father, an avid record collector and wrench card holder of the paradise garage in the 70s new york disco scene. Nic just relocated from London to Tokyo =) he plays a mix of electronic music as Nic Liu and Pleasure Cruiser. Making appearances at Wet Yourself @ Fabric in Room 1 and 3, Vikings @ Ministry of Sound, Holic @ Cafe 1001, Studio Martin in Bucharest and Hacienda in Singapore. As a relative newcomer to the scene, Belulok is continuosly interested in the sounds of the Romanian as well as vinyl releases from underground labels in the UK and Europe. It was exactly the inspiration he needed and buying records. After a while as the latest addition to the Minimalaysia, he translating new experiences and sensations into sound. With a wide range of influences at work, including names such as Thom Yorke, Mount Kimbie, Joy Division, Shed, Petre Inspirescu, Ricardo Villalobos and countless other international tastemakers, signalled a distinctive evolution of his sound, adding organic, house inflected grooves to his repertoire. From there, his distinctive sound began to develop and the rest is history. The only thing that remains consistent is the element of surprise. This is only the beginning of things to come. Although his sets encompass the worlds of house and techno, Matt is influenced by music of diverse genres, from different generations and from all corners of the globe. This open mind has brought a continuous need to search for new sounds and to put his unique musical stamp on things.
Having been a resident at Salon Daome for the past two years, a club synonymous with house music, he has played alongside Butch, Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Rodriguez Jr., Shonky and Tale Of Us amongst other international artists. He also has played at the world-renowned Stereo Afterhours, and in 2011 he kicked off the opening day of the outdoor weekly summer party Piknic Électronik. He is currently working with both known and unknown artists in Montreal and the rest of his time is spent researching and developing in music production.
As Romania’s underground scene takes shape under the guise of an increasingly minimal and experimental form, there are some who would seek to break from the path that those before them had previously set. One of these few promising individuals are Vinyl Speed Adjust, a duo comprised of Eddy and Levii, both living at the heart of the Romanian scene, it’s capital Bucharest. In the space of two years the two have racked up no less than three releases on Natural Rhythm and Waldliebe Familien, with major support from the electronic music community, being remixed by the likes of Summed & Dot, Micro_on, Alex Picone and the Analogue Cops. Also, as a testament to their talent, they are due to release a remix for none other than legendary Canadian producer Jay Tripwire.
In the past years Hebbo has played alongside dj's like RaySoo, Bryan Burger, Ben Katana, Joey G, DJ Gabriel, Losoul, Emmanuel Ternois, DJ Bone, Arjun Vagale, Radio Slave to name a few. Today he owns Minimalaysia, whose activity brought him deserved spot on top of the clubbing scale. The accurate technique and the refined musical selection make Hebbo one of the most promising artists of the young Malaysian generation. Before, his reputation has soared with him being named Best DJ in 2009 by Clubbing9 Top 5 DJs Poll Award. These days Hebbo is focusing all his strength in production and his label.
RaySoo is one of asia’s leading djs. His unique and quirky sense of electronic house music has taken him the world over. Steadily building up a strong catalogue of his very own style of productions on various labels, he was named ‘Best New DJ’ 2004 and ‘Best DJ’ 2005 two years in a row in Malaysian club culture and dance music bible Juice magazine. After touring Europe, China and South East Asia and also maintaining his homeland residencies, he launches the Love International label in 2008 with much success 3 years into the project, and is planning an artist album for 2012.
Started djing at the age of 14, and at 17 was one of the first DJs to play at the now legendary Zouk Club in Singapore for the first “Sessions” parties in the early 90’s. His talent and passion for the music continued to enhance his regional profile, playing at such infamous clubs as Barracuda, Samsara, Liquid Room, Boom Boom Room and Heaven - culminating in his headlining performance at the massive 1998 Commonwealth Games Outdoor Closing Party at The Mines resort in Kuala Lumpur.
2004 - 2007, named resident dj for 3 years at the new Zouk Club Kuala Lumpur. Showcasing his versatility with his signature sets that cover an impressive range of electronic dance music genres - swerving from minimal to maximal house and techno via the freshest style-defining sounds from a multifaceted landscape of influences from around the world – and playing alongside the likes of Carl Cox, Tiefschwarz, John Digweed, Sven Vath, Danny Howells, James Holden and Stacey Pullen. His nite Push won ‘Best Clubnite” in Juice magazines ‘best of 2006 awards’.
2006 – 2008 : Invited to play the major festivals Global Gathering in Malaysia, Worldwide Festival in Singapore, Hanoi Sound Festival in Vietnam and the C/O POP Festival (2007 & 2008) in Cologne Germany. The latter was part of the Goethe Institute German/Asian Pacific Plate music project when he also played gigs at the European Club of 2008 Berghain/Panoramabar in Berlin and several other well-received performances around Europe during a 3 month tour/base in Berlin. The project resulted in a 2 track collaboration with German house music pioneer Losoul a.k.a Peter Kremiere of the legendary Playhouse label and the compilation was received with great interest and hype by the most important electronic music magazines and media in Germany, and support from important artists from both Asia and Germany including Goodnight Electric, Gebruder Teichmann, Rubber Inc, Turner, Mathias Tanzmann, Jamie Llyod, Tri Minh, Hans Nieswandt, Xhin, Trickski and more.
In 2008, Ray launches his new label Love International. More than 20 releases so far from the likes of Losoul, Goodnight Electric, Space System, Turner, Mr. Fluff, PelleGrosso, DeepHouseSociety, Tonic, RaySoo and others - have garnered the praise and strong support of Laurent Garnier, Jimpster, Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Phillip Sherburne, Luciano, Magda, DJ Sneaks, Andy Cato and many more. His other releases appear on Raum Musik, Younan Musik, Pornographic records et al, and have found their ways into the record/cd boxes/computers of people from house heavyweight John Digweed to techno veteran Marco Bailey. Love International continues to hold label showcases in locales from Singapore to Amsterdam to Tokyo to Berlin. But for Ray, this is just the beginning of a long journey through the magic of music and djing - to reach out to the people on the dancefloors around the world. Lets rock!
From the ambient atmosphere and soothing down-tempo to the upbeat dance grooves and pumping bass-lines, OdyDozz has got his own ways in giving the best tunes to his crowds. Beginning at the age of 19, he has hyped up countless parties, club nights and musical events all around Malaysia. With a decade worth of experience, he has never failed to satisfy clubbers in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Ipoh. Since his involvement in the local EHM scene, his passion and endless determination to be part of the growing industry has always been astounding.
Backed with a hardihood in the entertainment industry he has signed under Minimalistix Lavenda back in 2010, OdyDozz is indeed the hardihood of various labels such as Wawawee and Love International. Very versatile in his song selections, he is able to cater even the most sophisticated music enthusiasts. Aside from his DJing schedule, he also produces several tracks under various labels.
In the path of being a reputable DJ Producer, he has teamed up with various names in the music scene such as Shahril Adnan (OMP Entertainment), Hebbo (Minimalaysia), Ray Soo (Love International), DJ Gabriel (Deep House Society) and Flikswitch (220V Recordings). In June 2008, he has met this crazy white dude, by the name of Pellegrosso, running around searching for his lost soul. With Pellegrosso's experience in sound designing and OdyDozz's DJing skills they created the perfect combo, pioneering Wawawee. As they learned from each other and started to grow together, they managed to expand the label and managed to contribute some vibrant to the local EHM scene. In collaboration with Love International, acidrecords and other labels, Wawawee has performed at various club nights like Wawawee & Love International @ Frangipani and White Nite @ 7atenine. Soon afterwards Wawawee has emerged as one of the main players in the local EHM scene with its first debut, Wawawee @ 69 Bistro. Currently, Wawawee and its expending line of DJs including OdyDozz are well-known for their Wawawee @ Bedroom monthly club night in Pavilion, KL.
In 2011, OdyDozz has produced two tracks for the CHOONS Awards. One of his tracks, "OdyDozz feat. Pellegrosso & Abner J - Ulek Mayang", has been featured in the CHOONS Awards's 2011 Compilation CD. He has released several other songs and remixes as well under the Wawawee label. Some songs such as "OdyDozz & Pellegrosso - Nantikan Pulang" and "OdyDozz & Pellegrosso - Lepak" are a hit among their die-hard fans. He is coming up soon with his latest releases under Groove Agenda and Wawawee that will add some more spice to our local scene.
