As Romania’s underground scene takes shape under the guise of an increasingly minimal and experimental form, there are some who would seek to break from the path that those before them had previously set. One of these few promising individuals are Vinyl Speed Adjust, a duo comprised of Eddy and Levii, both living at the heart of the Romanian scene, it’s capital Bucharest. In the space of two years the two have racked up no less than three releases on Natural Rhythm and Waldliebe Familien, with major support from the electronic music community, being remixed by the likes of Summed & Dot, Micro_on, Alex Picone and the Analogue Cops. Also, as a testament to their talent, they are due to release a remix for none other than legendary Canadian producer Jay Tripwire.

RaySoo is one of asia’s leading djs. His unique and quirky sense of electronic house music has taken him the world over. Steadily building up a strong catalogue of his very own style of productions on various labels, he was named ‘Best New DJ’ 2004 and ‘Best DJ’ 2005 two years in a row in Malaysian club culture and dance music bible Juice magazine. After touring Europe, China and South East Asia and also maintaining his homeland residencies, he launches the Love International label in 2008 with much success 3 years into the project, and is planning an artist album for 2012.

Started djing at the age of 14, and at 17 was one of the first DJs to play at the now legendary Zouk Club in Singapore for the first “Sessions” parties in the early 90’s. His talent and passion for the music continued to enhance his regional profile, playing at such infamous clubs as Barracuda, Samsara, Liquid Room, Boom Boom Room and Heaven - culminating in his headlining performance at the massive 1998 Commonwealth Games Outdoor Closing Party at The Mines resort in Kuala Lumpur.

2004 - 2007, named resident dj for 3 years at the new Zouk Club Kuala Lumpur. Showcasing his versatility with his signature sets that cover an impressive range of electronic dance music genres - swerving from minimal to maximal house and techno via the freshest style-defining sounds from a multifaceted landscape of influences from around the world – and playing alongside the likes of Carl Cox, Tiefschwarz, John Digweed, Sven Vath, Danny Howells, James Holden and Stacey Pullen. His nite Push won ‘Best Clubnite” in Juice magazines ‘best of 2006 awards’.

2006 – 2008 : Invited to play the major festivals Global Gathering in Malaysia, Worldwide Festival in Singapore, Hanoi Sound Festival in Vietnam and the C/O POP Festival (2007 & 2008) in Cologne Germany. The latter was part of the Goethe Institute German/Asian Pacific Plate music project when he also played gigs at the European Club of 2008 Berghain/Panoramabar in Berlin and several other well-received performances around Europe during a 3 month tour/base in Berlin. The project resulted in a 2 track collaboration with German house music pioneer Losoul a.k.a Peter Kremiere of the legendary Playhouse label and the compilation was received with great interest and hype by the most important electronic music magazines and media in Germany, and support from important artists from both Asia and Germany including Goodnight Electric, Gebruder Teichmann, Rubber Inc, Turner, Mathias Tanzmann, Jamie Llyod, Tri Minh, Hans Nieswandt, Xhin, Trickski and more.

In 2008, Ray launches his new label Love International. More than 20 releases so far from the likes of Losoul, Goodnight Electric, Space System, Turner, Mr. Fluff, PelleGrosso, DeepHouseSociety, Tonic, RaySoo and others - have garnered the praise and strong support of Laurent Garnier, Jimpster, Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Phillip Sherburne, Luciano, Magda, DJ Sneaks, Andy Cato and many more. His other releases appear on Raum Musik, Younan Musik, Pornographic records et al, and have found their ways into the record/cd boxes/computers of people from house heavyweight John Digweed to techno veteran Marco Bailey. Love International continues to hold label showcases in locales from Singapore to Amsterdam to Tokyo to Berlin. But for Ray, this is just the beginning of a long journey through the magic of music and djing - to reach out to the people on the dancefloors around the world. Lets rock!

Stephan Barnem is best know for his minimal and techno tracks which have been played and supported by Stephan Bodzin, Edit-Select, Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Dubfire, Davide Squillace, Gary Beck and a really long list of many international DJ's. He was born in Brazil in 1990, now he lives in Italy even though recently it's not unusual for him to spend some time in Berlin as well, for this reason he actually feels citizen of no countries, he just considers himself a citizen of the world. Stephan started playing music at his very young age, playing the piano, the guitar and the drum and attending classes for every instrument he played. His soul has not stop to speak through his music though, and you can clearly hear this by listening to his new album "What am I" in which you can hear either happy and sad melodies and you can also hear sounds from just everywhere, even himself laying the table.

Robin began discovering electronic/techno music in the late 80's, listening to artists like Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills and many others.

In the same period, he and some friends started organizing some of the first (then underground) techno parties in the Netherlands.

In 1998, after being involved in the Dutch dance scene for more then 10 years, he started buying and experimenting with drum machines, synthesizers, and other equipment, to compose his own music.

In 2000, this resulted in his first performances as “live act”, playing his own music in front of live audiences in clubs, on outdoor festivals, and on underground parties.

This has also resulted in a collaboration project with another artist, =XTRECIST= (from 2002 until 2005).
They also co-hosted the weekly KraakPiep radio show on AirPeace FM, which at the time was the only “non-compromise” radio show for electronic music.

Meanwhile, while always shifting the boundaries, and forever questioning the norm (both musically and technologically),
Robin's own music has become increasingly minimal and mature, and has resulted in a whole series of live performances, which have been well received.

Today, while combining the analogue gear of yesteryear with the digital tools of today, and after having played around the world for a decade, Robin is known for his own distinctive style of music, which fits somewhere between the funky and deep Detroit techno from the likes of Jeff Mills and Laurent Garnier, and the minimalistic dub from Berlin sound scientists Basic Channel.

Robin is also one of the residents on the notorious Vuig* parties and afterparties.
